Does Driver’s Ed make a difference?

According to studies, it does!  Driver’s ed reduces the number of crashes and traffic convictions of new drivers as compared to new drivers who do not participate in driver education.  You can learn things in driver education that you cannot learn from the manual or your parents alone.  New Hampshire allows students the option to wait until they are 18 and try for their license without the benefit of driver education, but there are things they simply will not learn on their own.
